In 1984-85 SDMO buys the "AMAN" generating sets division of ALSTOM, company of 120 people located in the Paris suburbs and thus acquires a "know-how" in the field of specific applications (autonomous power stations, telecommunications, military, offshore, etc…)
It is also at that time that SDMO buys SOREEL, specialized in automatisms panels, in order to control the "sensitive" part of the product.
